Don Papenbrock

Don Papenbrock joins St. Paul’s following his tenure as Music Minister at First United Methodist Church of LaGrange, where he served from 2020 to 2024. Over his 36-year career, Don has held music leadership roles primarily within Episcopal churches, including Christ Church (Norcross, GA), St. Michael and All Angels (Stone Mountain, GA), St. Peter’s (St. Louis, MO), and St. Peter’s (Fernandina Beach, FL). His deep love for Anglican choral and organ music—especially the rich revival of English cathedral music from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, known as the “English golden age”—shapes his service planning and reflects the core of his spiritual expression.

Don holds bachelor’s degrees in Organ and Piano performance as well as in Business from Jacksonville University (FL) and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
